Holiday Shennanigans

We've been decking the halls, embibing spirits, eggnogging, baking, Christmas card planning, snapping photos, and fa la la la la-ing our way to December. And now that December has arrived, more of the same holiday shenanigans will continue. Last night for example, Isom and I enjoyed a kid free evening of food, drink, and entertainment at his work Christmas party. Somehow we were the only couple in our group that didn't win a prize, but we somehow managed to keep smiles on our faces...peach margarita could have something to do with it. Our annual holiday greeting card, Christmas party, visit with Santa, and Christmas Parade can now be checked off the list. Today we choose our version of the Charlie Brown Christmas tree, trim it, bake cookies, and watch "A Christmas Story". Keeping the traditions of decorating and gluttony alive this holiday season. Looking forward to next weekend..."Christmas Vacation" on a repetitive loop, more cookie baking, and hot coco in hand neighborhood drive to see all the Christmas lights. Love this time of year.
