Free To Be Three!

See that 10.1 pound baby right there? That's my Zach. Born right on time. Right on his due date. Right as the last nail of our new staircase was hammered in. Right as we were pretty settled in the ways of parenting. Z came along to shake us all up.

...and he hasn't stopped shaking things up. You can find him bouncing. Slurping on a juice box. Devouring entire bowls of strawberries. Playing in the sand (a.k.a throwing sand at your face). Splashing in the ocean (yes, a.k.a water in your eye!)

Driving. Every three year old knows how right?!

He makes a great air hockey competitor.

But isn't fond of the birthday song and blowing out candles (sprinkles are acceptable however).

He's been known to ROAR with the best of them. Drink his weight in milkshakes and smoothies. And the newest sensation---"one eyed Zach the pirate".

He tries hard to keep up with the big boys...including his appetite, stamina for athletics, and foul language (always a crowd pleaser).

He keeps us all laughing with his clever wit. And it's hard to resist that charming devilish grin...even when you know mischief is right around the corner (spitting, pouring, throwing, kicking...just to name a few "ing" actions).

Age one and two were definitely cute and hard to out do, but I'm sure our Zach will have no trouble finding a way to get into even more stuff as he discovers the joys of being free to be three!
