Channeling My Inner Carrie Bradshaw

To quote the always stylish fictional writer Carrie Bradshaw "Every once in awhile, a girl has to indulge herself." Okay, I may have taken this quote to the extreme. Since beginning my bake-o-rama, I have been indulging in a cupcake every day. I usually indulge in t.v. daily too. I certainly indulge by living in Hawaii, and yes, by the title of the other blog I contribute to, I'm sure you would agree that I indulge in Starbucks. Yesterday, it was shoes. Since, like purses, they are the one thing that always fits (no matter how many cupcakes or Starbucks you might have consumed), I always feel it's worth it...and you walk EVERY SINGLE DAY. So, I decided to give you all a break from all the cupcake (well, sorta) photos and banter and share my cool find from yesterday. They're comfortable, cute, and cheap ($18.99 at Payless). They make you wanna dance.

Thanks D! I like your new pic. Glad you liked the cupcakes...Isom was not a huge fan of the coconut/raspberry. Whatever. Like pizza, even bad cupcakes are good...well, mostly.

March Goal: 30 Beaches, 30 Days

  Third monthly challenge complete!  For March, my goal was to go to thirty different beaches for thirty days.  To recap, in January I hiked thirty different trails for thirty days, and in February I practiced different styles of Yoga for twenty-eight days.   Mountain.  Mat.  Marine.  The first three months of my year long journey of completing monthly goals has been achieved.  I feel good.  I have worked my heart with cardio,  worked my body with stretching, and worked my soul with the happiness that being outside, toes in the sand and salt water washing over me, can provide. I realize that a thirty day beach goal is not feasible for everyone.  I am filled with gratitude that I live in a place where the beach is accessible, beautiful, and free.  Born, not raised, in Hawai’i, believe it or not, up until this thirty day challenge, I was not much of a beach person.  It seemed boring, hot, and out of my comfort zone.  Ne...

I'm in love with this new outfit of Zach's. Okay, outfit might be stretching it...onesie. I have to share.
